We take decorating for Christmas very seriously. It is the festival of light, so it is hardly surprising that we have a fabulous 1200 lights on our Christmas Tree! After the disaster of last year, when our tree toppled after we gave it a (non-alcoholic) drink, this year's had to be something special... And we think it is!
But the tree isn't the only thing to have been decorated! While the minis set-to on the tree, Mummy busily decorates the rest of the house. This year we have garlands, candles and the pipe-cleaner Santas, as well as fresh greenery from the garden.
🎄No one could ever accuse us of scrimping on decorations!🎄
Picture One: The first thing to go on our tree is always Charles.
He is a Highland Wildlife Park red panda puppet, with an alarming but loving outlook on life.
Picture Two: Orlando racing to recover his lost ball...
Leave none behind!
(I'm teeny behind!)
Picture Three: Orlando unsuccessfully attempting snake charming.
Picture Four: Gathered greenery, now placed around the house!
Picture Five: Filling EVERY bare patch on the tree...
No, really! Every single one!
Picture Six: Me looking tiny again, this time dwarfed by the tree instead of the dog!
Picture Seven: And the finished product.
A well-mannered tree curtsying to the room.
It's the perfect tree!
Picture Eight: We always have a Chinese Takeaway on Decorating Day, and today was no exception!
Did you spot the lights along the wall?
Picture Nine: The piano in its Christmas get-up.
The rag wreath was made by Judith!
Picture Ten: Berlioz, composer of the beautiful Shepherd's Farewell surrounded by Christmas decorations
Picture Eleven: Proudly presenting a spray of greenery drawn straight from the garden!
Picture Twelve: Our Advent Calendar, back lit by our tree.
I don't think I've ever seen anything more Christmassy.
Pictures Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen and Sixteen: A few snaps from my camera (the others were Judith's).
I love my camera.
