Day Twenty - Railway Room Triumph and a Christmas Concert

...And there is now more empty floor space than covered space - we're almost there!

Christmas is seeming very close now: into the 20s of December, wishing visitors Merry Christmas, attending the Wick Choral Society's Christmas concert... It's all so close!

So here are our 20 pictures to inspire Christmas thoughts and share our daily adventures with you!

Picture One: It was first class postage deadline today, but Clemency had to be at work, so she left us a very smiley, happy note asking us to sort out a few letters and parcels.

Pictures Two, Three, Four and Five: On the way from the Post Office to puppy walk, we had to wait for this to go past... It just kept going!!!

Picture Six: There were some interesting clouds over Wick this morning.  It might just be because I've been obsessively working on the Railway Room, but I thought it looked a bit like a train funnel!

Pictures Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten and Eleven: On the subject of the Railway Room, today we named all the DVD boxes after steam engines, got the futon downstairs and, of course gave it a thorough hoover... Judith sat on the futon and took pictures while I hoovered.  The result?  I look like a jolly giant!

Pictures Twelve and Thirteen: Next stop - the tip! Everything *somehow* fitted into the car.  It's no exaggeration, though, that I had to throw myself at the door to get it to close!

Pictures Fourteen and Fifteen: The obligatory spaniel pictures!  After a crazy start to the day he decided he wanted to pose for the camera - well, he is VERY handsome!

Picture Sixteen: Look how much floor there is!!!

Picture Seventeen: Overcome by our success, Judith decided to sail away in a cardboard box... A bit of a Jumblies moment!

Pictures Eighteen, Nineteen and Twenty: This evening we went to the Wick Choral Society's Christmas Concert, where some of Clemency's class were performing.  Judith insisted we took the spooky lane, which was only a little less creepy with the torch.  Finally, safe in the church, we took a celebratory, it's-nearly-Christmas-almost-exploding-with-excitement selfie.  That's a thing, isn't it?
